While not big news, Good Old Games is having a sale on at the moment on all Kalypso games. Kalypso's lineup is not all that impressive but this sale does include Port Royale, Patrician 1 & 2 at $2.99 each. Probably not a great need to get any of these game in honesty but they could be a bit of fun if your looking to complete a set Check it out HERE

Ever wondered why the promotion of Age of Pirates: COAS was so poor? Well wonder no more! Playlogic, via

Wow, I'm really way behind on the news but I'm only a few days back on this
For those who like the hybrid trading/action games Steam currently have a sale on for Nitro's complete East India Trading Company, this includes the main game as well as the 3 add-ons (Pirate Bay, Trafalgar & Privateer) Now I'm no fan of the series as pointed out in the past, however at USD15.00 for the whole shebang is good value. Grab it
After a long wait the Patrician 4 website is now open. The information on it is pretty thin but it's a start, I did notice however in the corner it has a "Games for Windows" logo. A bit disappointed with this as I was hoping it would get to steam on release but it may o to the Microsoft games platform (anyone know what that's called?)
It seems somebody out there wants to give away hefty booty, $10,000 dollars to be exact! Apparently, 3 puppet pirates and a ninja lost their gold in New York City, and they want you to find it for them! If you can find it, it's yours! That doesn't sound like a very piratey thing to do, but I could sure use a spare $10,000! It is all in gold colored $1 US coins. I ran across this story a week ago or so, and I have been trying to track down as much information as I could about who is actually behind this, but I haven't been able to find anything. They had a link to a web page that wasn't active when I first saw this, but it is up and running now. The treasure hunt begins August 1'st, 2010, and videos with clues to the location will be posted on their web site.
