After you kill Brock in Speightstown - exit his room and Shaypen says goodbye.

Then you get a dialogue screen with portrait for Annamaria - saying she wants to join you etc. all works Ok.

BUT Annamaria not there - ( her model ) - possibly still outside tavern - perhaps she can't move far enough in the time between the end of Shaypen's dialogue and the start of her own so that you can see her. :shrug

If you set the time to 0.0, doesn't it usually wait until the whole thing is properly completed?
I think I observed that. In some cases. Not sure at all if it'd work here. But might be worth a quick test.

It works in the other storyline - rescue Brin girls from Nevis - Shaypen says goodbye on Speightstown jetty - go through Port Gate into town & Annamaria runs up and talks to you - all ok.

I just think it is the difference in distances in the two cases. Tavern to Port Gate against Tavern to Shipyard. (Brocks room)

Perhaps for the shipyard one Annamaria could start from somewhere nearer the shipyard. :ok

Updating status to: Requires Testing
Issue fixed in: Beta 1 Patch 1

It was set to 5.0 so I have changed it to 0.0 so now it should work (hopefully)
